  Not so great start - ended pretty well.
  Initially the table we were seated at had ants crawling over the top of the table. I requested to switch tables.
  no ants!
  Appetizer- buffalo wings were yummy & cooked perfect.
  Ribs entree with their whiskey glaze !
  Overall good experience despite the ...

  I only get to have Friday's every few years now and I must say each experience gets worse. The service is good but the food. I got, as always, the Whiskey glazed chicken with a side of the fried shrimp; to me it's the Jack Daniels chicken and shrimp but no longer. Chicken was under cooked or fatty. I'm not sure but one of the two pieces was not edible do to the texture. The other was fine. The broccoli was under cooked but tasty. Potatoes were good but they are hard to mess up. First shrimp was horrible the others were good. I don't know what happened between TGI Friday's and Jack Daniels, I'm sure it had something to do with money, but the current whiskey glaze is like barely flavored brown sugar water.
  
  Also, the cooler was broken so they had no beer on tap, only bottles.

  We initially started off at a different restaurant just a few minutes away. We were so unhappy with the service that we offer to come here and we're very thankful we did. We started off telling the server that we were already frustrated about how we were treated at the previous restaurant. She was amazing! She tended to our needs and even apologize for the poor experience we had elsewhere. The facility was clean. I ordered the appetizer sampler platter. I forgot how huge this was. A few others at our table had the bonus bucket of wings, a salad, a few burgers and chicken tenders. We all shared. Everything was great and we were very pleased. It was just what we needed after a day at the beach

  My in-laws are visiting us & wanted to try out the food at Friday's.  Two of us each ordered the half rack of bbq ribs, & the other two each ordered fish & chips.  As for the ribs, i found the bbq sauce to be very tasty.  However the ribs themselves were smaller than at other restaurants & thus had little meat on them.  Two prescribed sides came with the ribs.  They come with fries & slaw.  The accompanying fries were seasoned & tasty.  Meanwhile the accompanying cole slaw seemed fresh, but was mostly made with just stirred in mayo.  I was informed that the fish & chips were pretty good.  The service was excellent, and the food was ok, but not spectacular.

  I am updating this because...the ribs!  I have now had them 3 times and every time they are tender and falling off the bone.  The service is pretty consistent they are usually polite and helpful.  If there are any blunders they are corrected.
